Several models of straight or hybrid Lonbows and “Hunting” type Bows have left my workshop (The “Marauder”, the “Sheytan”, The “Jagd”, the “Stonehenge”, “Axis”, “l’ Instinct"...), a new model every 2 or 3 years, no more, I take the time to study, to innovate, I create prototypes, to test and use them on the most demanding terrains... Until the very latest innovation, a Hunting Handle with ILF attachment (“The Eclipse”), released in 2018 only, already hyper present on the national podiums with numerous titles and in the best places in the 3D World Championship. 2019... One of my prides as an Artisan Facteur d'Arcs.

To this Activity, is added the manufacture of high-end Bowstrings and arrows intended for the best level of competition (Many Archers, some of whom are High Level, use the "Diablesse", an efficient manufacturing concept that I must in largely based on knowledge of materials, from my former profession), as well as an online store now well known to French and European archers (The website has existed since 2013, with previously more than 5 intensive years between 2008 and 2013 on the sites best-known online sales).

Often on the competition field, I remain committed to maintaining my skills on all types of Bows, Longbow, Recurve, Classic, Compound, and on all competition fields, all types of courses on several federations, without neglecting the Target shooting outdoors or indoors. This maintenance of skills seems essential to me for the daily exercise of my profession as a Bowmaker in the broad sense which is not limited to sales, I impose on myself to be able to find and/or manufacture the right equipment for you, the accessories that go with it, as well as after-sales service.

2020... Change of Workshop

My old workshop had become too small for a while and was not easy to accommodate. It was necessary to evolve, after more than 12 great years working in this place that I had difficulty accepting to leave.

Lx Archerie and confinements...

The decision was made in 2019 and the confinements. This period was very intense, only 1 postman visit per week and a post office which refused to take packages.

I worked 7 days a week during the confinements and only owed the survival of my business to the reliability of my website, to the supermarket located 15 km away which accepted my packages and to European suppliers capable of helping me. supply in less than 3 days. Which, instead of asking for help from the state, allowed me to continue to work normally and pay my expenses under... "whoever it costs" :)

This has not escaped you, if you add up my different main activities, I am at 43 years of active life in January 2024...

In a short time the time will come to give way and above all to pass on my know-how. Not only the online store and the premises, but also the workshop and all the technology, from the Making of Bows, Arrows and Strings. So much unique know-how, workshop secrets and helping hands that can only be transmitted through presence and support.

Arrival in Pidoux and a Workshop to build...

Positioned on the very site of the St Sauvant Archers Club, particularly well frequented by fans of Nature shooting and 3D. This premises houses a larger and even more creative workshop, a reception for the collection of orders, Drive, on-site adjustments, after-sales service and small repairs... all in a context allowing you to talk about equipment and archery.

Originally a large empty room of 100 m2, several weeks of work were necessary to transform the former rest room of several generations of children who attended the recreational center, into a store workshop. The reception area remains somewhat reduced and there is no longer enough room for arranging the stock which remains in cardboard (hence the need to prepare your orders before your visit). These are the small sacrifices necessary in exchange for what this unique location provides for an archery.

The 600 m2 of premises and its vast meadow located on a site of several hectares, already have a rich history, a former recreational center from the 60s, it now houses several workshops and associations. A fan of calm and quality of life, in line with my activities, the place had what it took to seduce me :)

What place for archery with all these activities...?

I am not a competitor fighting with others, but an archer challenging himself, more than 20 years of archery and barely 7 years of competition licenses. The objective remains personal, namely: to achieve a score (to be put into perspective depending on the circumstances). The objective is not the ranking, being on a podium depends on the performance of others, achieving your objective depends only on yourself...

Having a good time with a bow in hand with other archers is much more valuable than the podium, the rewards are only there to sometimes add a little more shared emotion...

Sports throwing...

In 2013, thanks to friends who were archers, hunters and throwers, I discovered this sport, almost unknown in France but much more cultural in many countries around the world, particularly in Europe. This sport which requires concentration and skill has brought me a lot, particularly during international competitions, in which the French regularly shine, despite and unfortunately a complicated development in France or an orientation of leisure and release which has led it a little astray from its sporty appearance. A nevertheless spectacular discipline in which it is common to see the public come to attend the championships. I have put this activity on hold since 2019, due to Covid, confinements and moving of the workshop, but an activity that I plan to resume as soon as possible in 2024.

Best results in competition (WA and IFAA International Regulations represented in France by the French Archery Federation and the French Free Shooting Federation):

Archery: Practice of Natural Shooting, 3D Shooting, Field Shooting, Beursault Shooting, Indoor Shooting, TAE (FITA), Prehisto Shooting (Bow and Assegais) and Recreational Shooting. 20 years of Practice but in Competition only since 2017. Basically I am a (very diligent) archer, hunter and recreational range shooter, I learned to shoot archery alone in my garden and not in a club, (which is not necessarily the best way to learn, better to go to a club :).
